Ramshej Fort

It is 14 min away from our place.This fort can be visited in a day. This fort is located on the busy Nashik-Vapi Route. There is a temple of Lord Ram at the entrance of the fort. There is a water cistern near the temple holding potable water. On the eastern side of the fort is the main gate of the fort which is chiseled from the parent rock. There are many rock-cut water cisterns on the fort. The hidden entrance gate on the eastern side of the fort leads the path to Bhorgad fort.

Chambhar Leni

The caves at Chambhar Leni are the Jain caves of the 4th century and also one of the sacred spots for the Jain religion. Chambhar Leni is the portion of the Teerthraj Gajpantha, which is a holy place of the Jains. This place is of great religious importance to the Jain followers. The caves are at an elevation of about 400 feet from the ground. The staircase that leads to the Jain temple is made out of black stones. They give an awesome panoramic sight of the valley. It is just 11 min away from our place.
